Longmont Stabbing Victim Taken to Hospital with Serious Injuries

A crime scene investigator meets with a witness at the scene of a stabbing on S. Francis Street just before noon Sept. 24.

Longmont police are investigating a stabbing in the 300 block of Francis Street.

The incident was reported around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.

Two men who are possibly neighbors were involved in the stabbing, according to Longmont police Deputy Chief Jeff Satur.

The victim was taken to Longmont United Hospital with serious injuries. The suspect was also taken to the hospital, but with less serious injuries.
