Herbalife posts 2Q profit
GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands (AP) — Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $82.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the George Town, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 97 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.24 per share.
The seller of supplements and weight-loss products posted revenue of $1.16 billion in the period.
Herbalife expects full-year earnings in the range of $4.50 to $4.70 per share.
Herbalife shares have increased 31 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $49.21, a decrease of almost 1 percent in the last 12 months.
