AUBURN, Ala. (AP) _ Conswella Sparrow went 8-for-8 for a game-high 22 points Tuesday to lead No. 23 Auburn to a 100-52 win over Jacksonville State.

Auburn (6-1) shot 56 percent from the field and held Jacksonville State to 29 percent.

Millie McElrath led the Gamecocks (4-5) with 13 points, and Shneka Whaley added 10. Melissa Harden had 11 points and also led Jacksonville State in rebounds with five.

Tasha Hamilton picked up 16 points for the Tigers, along with Tiffany Krantz, who scored 13; Erin McGinnis, who scored 11; and Chrissy Davenport with 10. Justine Agbatan led the Tigers in rebounds with 14.

Auburn starter Shana Askew suffered a knee injury in the first half and will undergo testing tomorrow to determine its extent.

The Tigers led by as much as 52 points during the second half after taking a 51-22 lead into the locker room at halftime.
