Winter Farmers’ Market to be held Saturday

December 1, 2018

SCOTTSBLUFF — The Green Valley Homesteaders will be joining 23 vendors at this week’s Winter Farmers’ Market. While marketgoers will be shopping, they can enjoy some music from GVH.

This week’s market will have microgreens, root crops and corn fed beef from Twin Buttes. There will also be greenery that will be available for Christmas decorating.

The non-profit this week is Riverside Discovery Center. The zoo is raising money for a new home for the bears. The market will also have a raffle on the “Market Basket” which each vendor puts in a product that they sell. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. The money raised from the raffle will be donated to the zoo.

The Scottsbluff Winter Farmers Market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Old Village Garden Center, 1400 E. 20th St., Scottsbluff. The Winter Farmers Market runs the first and third Saturdays of each month.
