Police: Woman Robbed Turkey Hill In W-B Sunday Night

WILKES-BARRE — A woman armed with a knife robbed a city convenience store Sunday night, according to police. The woman walked into the Turkey Hill Minit Market on North Pennsylvania Avenue at about 10:15 p.m., displayed a knife and demanded cash from the register, city police said in a post to the department’s Facebook page. She then fled on foot on North Street, police said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build and black hair. She wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. Anyone with information may contact Wilkes-Barre police at 570-208-4200.
