Police: 10 killed in India when landslide sweeps away home

NEW DELHI (AP) — Police say 10 people were killed when their home was swept away by a landslide that followed heavy rains in the hills of northeast India.

Press Trust of India news agency, quoting police officials, says the Tuesday night landslide occurred in Mizoram state. Police say 14 people lived in two apartments inside the home.

Four people were rescued after the landslide. One of those rescued was injured.
