New Town man accused of biting jail guard; faces felony
STANLEY, N.D. (AP) — A New Town man is facing a felony charge after allegedly biting the hand of a jail guard in Mountrail County.
The Minot Daily News reports 25-year-old David Blue is accused of biting the knuckle of a female guard who was trying to subdue him at the county jail on Sept. 7.
The charge against him carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison. Court documents indicate he’s representing himself in court. A home telephone listing for him couldn’t be found. He could enter a plea at a Nov. 1 hearing.
