ST. PETERSBURG — Newly acquired outfielder Tommy Pham has been placed on the 10-day disabled list by the Tampa Bay Rays because of a broken right foot. Pham was hit on the foot by a pitch from Los Angeles Angels left-hander Andrew Heaney on Thursday. He had an MRI on Friday.

MARLINS-FERNANDEZ KILLED-LAWSUIT

MIAMI — The estate of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez has settled a wrongful death lawsuit with the families of two other men who were with him in a fatal boat crash in Florida. Attorney Ralph Fernandez, who represents the All-Star's estate, confirmed Friday that they had reached an agreement Tuesday, which would have been Jose Fernandez's 26th birthday.

PRO BOWL-ORLANDO

ORLANDO — The Pro Bowl is headed back to Orlando, Florida. The NFL announced Friday that the all-star game will be played Jan. 27 at Camping World Stadium. It will be televised on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and simulcast on ABC. Tickets go on sale in the fall.

LA LIGA-US TV

WASHINGTON — The Federal Communications Commission has dismissed a complaint filed against Comcast by beIN Sports, which was dropped this week by the cable systems of Comcast Xfinity and Verizon Fios. In a complaint filed in May, beIN accused Comcast Cable Communications of violations of the Communications Act of 1934, FCC rules, the FCC order approving Comcast's purchase of NBCUniversal and conditions set by the FCC for the purchase. NBC has U.S. television English and Spanish broadcast rights to England's Premier League. BeIN Sports has televised Spain's La Liga in the U.S. since the 2012-13 season.
