Marvin John Ellingson, age 82, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

He was a wonderful dad and you could count on a weekly call or for him to drop in for a visit. He loved each and every one of his grandchildren with his whole heart and was a kid at heart when he was around them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Corliss; brothers, Stuart (Kaye) Ellingson and Ellsworth (Ann) Ellingson; five children, Richard (Brenda), Waltham, Steven Ellingson, Austin, Susan (Todd) Haroldson, Albert Lea, Sheri (Scott) Oakland, Brownsdale, and Kristine (Sean) Brink, Albert Lea; stepdaughter, Lorri (Matt) Talberg; 13 grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Jeff, Samantha, Naomi, Stephanie, Jessie, Aronn, Tyler, Jackie, Elisa, Kameron and Nicholas; 11 great-grandchildren.
