FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) _ Tes Whitlock's 3-point play launched a 13-2 run in the second half that lifted Hawaii to a 75-65 victory over Colorado State in a Western Athletic Conference game Saturday.

With Hawaii (10-16, 7-11) leading 44-38 with 14 minutes to play, Whitlock sank a jumper, was fouled and made the free throw, launching the Rainbows on the run. Danny Furlong capped the run with a layin at 6:40 and the Rainbows led 57-40.

CSU (17-10, 11-7) led 14-9 early in the first half. Hawaii rallied to tie the score at 16-16 with 10:46 remaining and went on to lead 35-25 at the half.

Justice Sueing led Hawaii with 21 points, followed by Whitlock's 17, Anthony Harris had 12, Furlong finished with 11 and Alika Smith had 10.

Delmonte Madison led CSU with 20 points while Joe Vogel had 13 and David Evans finished with 12.
