Reading Festival Planned At St. Nicholas/St. Mary’s

The faculty of St. Nicholas St. Mary’s School, South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, will hold a reading festival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the school in downtown Wilkes-Barre. This free festival will include stories, crafts, games, face painting, reading therapy dogs, a book fair and light refreshments. The festival will celebrate Dr. Seuss week and is geared toward Pre-K through second grade. Students must be accompanied by an adult. For a reservation, call the school at 570-823-8089.
