Cane Island to open on-site restaurant, The Oaks Kitchen and Bar
The Katy master-planned community of Cane Island, which continues to attract new home buyers with its features and resort-style amenities, will soon open The Oaks Kitchen and Bar, a casual fine dining experience where residents can enjoy ranch-inspired cuisine in the convenience of the tree-lined Cane Quarter.
Located in the heart of the Katy community of new homes, the newest addition to Cane Island’s luxury experience will be a welcoming spot for dinner, meeting friends for lunch or to pick up a quality meal to go without leaving the community. Open to the public, the full-service restaurant was designed by Houston’s Schiller Del Grande Restaurant Group.
Under the culinary direction of Jeremy Greenhouse of Extraordinary Creations, The Oaks Kitchen and Bar will feature ahi tuna tacos, blackened salmon, roasted lemon chicken, broccolini walnut pasta and several other entrees. Plus, families can choose from tasty starters, burgers, hot sandwiches, fresh salads and desserts from scratch. Lunch specials will be available as will a weekly Sunday brunch.
Before or after visiting The Oaks Kitchen and Bar, visitors can stop by any of Cane Island’s model homes to get a first-hand look at the new home features. From island kitchens and private studies to inviting master suites and fun-packed media rooms, these fully furnished showcases are worth the visit. Restaurant goers also can simply head up to the adjacent fireplace loft for a breathtaking sunset view.
The award-winning community offers new homes from the $200,000s to the millions, including move-in ready homes by several award-winning Houston builders. In addition to The Oaks Kitchen and Bar, Cane Quarter offers a lagoon-style family pool and cabanas, children’s water playground, lap pool, two-story fitness center, yoga studio with on-demand classes, fireplace loft, Katy’s only glass-walled conservatory, and a central lawn for movie nights and community gatherings.
