Peak Resorts: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

WILDWOOD, Mo. (AP) _ Peak Resorts Inc. (SKIS) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $9.7 million.

The Wildwood, Missouri-based company said it had net income of 56 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 59 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 62 cents per share.

The ski resort owner posted revenue of $56 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $52.7 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.4 million, or 2 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $131.7 million.

Peak Resorts shares have declined roughly 3 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 14 percent in the last 12 months.
