— AMAZON CENTER-OHIO: — Internet retail giant Amazon says it plans to build another large distribution center in Ohio. The Columbus Dispatch reports the newest center will employ 1,500 people in the village of West Jefferson, roughly 18 miles west of Columbus in Madison County.

— ZOO-SMALL FIRE: A small fire in a concession stand at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens caused thousands of dollars in damage, but no humans or animals have been injured.

— IMMIGRATION-OHIO GOVERNOR: Ohio Gov. John Kasich is announcing an initiative aimed at helping legal immigrants successfully integrate in the state.

— LEGO BUILDER-OHIO: A college student has won the job of master builder at a Lego center opening in central Ohio later this year.
