Bicyclist fatally struck by Florida commuter train

OAKLAND, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a bicyclist has been fatally struck by South Florida commuter train.

News outlets report that a Brightline train hit the man Wednesday afternoon in Oakland Park.

Vehicle traffic near the crossing was stopped in both directions as Broward deputies investigated.

Officials didn’t immediately identify the man.
