William Barr vote pushed back one week by Senate Judiciary Committee

January 29, 2019

The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote next week on William Barr’s nomination as attorney general, Sen. Lindsey Graham announced on Tuesday.

Delaying votes for nominees is a routine practice, with Democrats typically requesting to hold the vote for a week.

With Republicans still firmly in the majority, it is likely that Mr. Barr’s nomination will move out of committee.
