WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A West Fargo woman is facing a drunken driving charge after crashing into a police squad car and injuring an officer.

Authorities say the crash happened early Sunday near the entrance to the Red River Valley Fairgrounds along county Road 28. An officer was conducting a traffic stop when the 29-year-old woman hit the squad car from behind. The police car was pushed into the vehicle the officer had stopped.

The West Fargo officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. WDAY-TV (http://bit.ly/2t8phva ) reports the woman's initial blood alcohol test registered more than twice the legal limit.
