Stamp prices will increase by a nickel Monday
Now’s the time to buy a book of stamps.
On Sunday, the price of a first-class stamp will increase by a nickel, to 55 cents.
According to USA Today, it is the largest percentage rise in stamp prices since 1991, when postage rose from 25 to 29 cents.
“Forever Stamps” can be purchased for 50 cents through Saturday and will be good for future use, no matter the cost of mailing a first-class letter.
Changes for other postal products vary, but postcard stamps will remain 35 cents.
