Robert (Bob) Edward Stanislawski, 72, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his home in Winona.

Bob was born March 14, 1946, in Winona, to Frank and Esther Stanislawski. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers William, Tom and Pete; daughter, Brandi; and grandson, Ryan Stanislawski.

Bob graduated from Winona Senior High School, class of 1964, and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Winona State University and his master’s degree in mathematics, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was an educator at Babbitt Public Schools in Babbitt, Minn., before becoming a quality control engineer for Lake Center Industries, in Winona. Bob was a devoted Catholic, celebrating at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Winona.

His passions included mathematics, computer programing, building and inventing. Bob taught his children and grandchildren to be very hands-on in everything they did. In addition to spending quality time with his many grandchildren, he also enjoyed ice skating, sailing and biking. We will always remember him as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Bob is survived by three children, Craig Stanislawski of Houston, Judd (Lori) Stanislawski of Winona and Summer Joy (Brad) Bowling-Turner of Alvarado, Texas; former wife, Jeannie Hittner-Stanislawski of Burleson, Texas; three brothers, Frank (Mary) of Cabot, Ark., Joe (Raelene) of Altura and Jim of Lamoille, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Paige, Taylor, Drew, Dylan, Nathan, Braeden, Caleb; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, 1476 W. Broadway, Winona.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1303 W. Broadway, Winona. The visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Visitation Commons of St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winona.
