Police capture man after escape from western Kentucky jail
HICKMAN, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say a man has been captured after an escape from the Fulton County jail.
Police said 34-year-old Timothy R. Richardson of Shepherdsville was apprehended Wednesday in Mayfield after being pursued from Fulton County on the Purchase Parkway. State police said troopers used stop sticks to deflate Richardson’s tires.
Richardson was charged with second-degree escape and auto theft. Police said Richardson escaped early Wednesday.
A news release from police said Richardson is a state inmate serving time for various drug charges, wanton endangerment, fleeing and evading and auto theft.
