The Art of Preston Jackson

WESTVILLE — In recognition of Black Spirit Month, a tour and discussion on the work of distinguished artist and sculptor Preston Jackson will be given at the Westville Campus of Purdue University Northwest on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

Titled “The Art of Preston Jackson,” the discussion will be given by Judy Jacobi, assistant vice chancellor of university art collections and special programs at PNW. The event will take place in the Library Student Faculty building, room 144.

Jacobi said the campus has a powerful exhibition of Jackson’s work, including two sculptures and many paintings, in the LSF building where she will be speaking.
