Lackawanna County Sentencings 2/6/2019

President Judge Michael Bar­rasse sentenced the following defendants recently in Lacka­wanna County Court:

Chelsea Verity, 19, 118 S. Main St., Carbondale, to 11½ to 23 months in county prison, followed by five years of probation, for aggravated assault.

Christian Clark, 21, 1208 Philo St., Scranton, to 58 days time served in county prison for harassment.

William Velez, 61, 438 S. Ninth St., Scranton, to 2½ to six years in state prison and a $2,500 fine for criminal use of a communication facility and DUI — third offense.

Curtis Mahnke, 27, 291 Hillside Park, Moscow, to one to 3½ years in state prison, followed by two years of probation, for simple assault.

Tytwon Prayor, 34, 153 Garfield Ave., Scranton, to 20 to 48 months in county prison, followed by three years of probation, for delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.

Thomas Moore, 27, 11 Williams St., Taylor, to 2½ to 10 years in state prison and $4,000 in fines for DUI — second offense and DUI — tier three, third offense.

Judge Vito Geruolo sentenced:

Justin Slack, 25, 2029 Jackson St., Scranton, to one year of probation for resisting arrest.

Judge Andy Jarbola sentenced:

Michael Carter, 18, 1110 Albright Ave., Scranton, to one year of probation for institutional vandalism.

Judge Margaret Bisignani Moyle sentenced:

Sergio Justiniano, 35, 1113 Swetland St., Scranton, to six months of probation for disorderly conduct.

Anthony Monroe, 34, 1167 Isabella St., Williamsport, to two to four years in state prison, followed by three years of probation, for delivery of a controlled substance.
