The Off the Hook Crochet Group will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at the Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. S.W. The group is open to anyone interested in crochet. A trail walk will be held from 8 a.m. to noon today at the Silver Bluff Audubon Center and Sanctuary, 4542 Silver Bluff Road, Jackson. The event will feature nature stations, live owl demonstrations, a microscope table, a coloring book station and a special appearance by Burner Bob. The Aiken Standard’s seventh annual Home and Garden Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in Gym No. 2 of the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road. Admission is $1, and will benefit the Aiken Habitat for Humanity.
