New dialysis clinic open in P.M. Township
PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A new dialysis clinic has opened, located at 37 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., near Walgreens.
The Fresenius Kidney Care clinic in Pere Marquette Charter Township began treating dialysis patients on Friday, May 10, said Ryan Sawyer, who is Fresenius’ director of operations for Northwest Michigan.
“We’re excited to bring a state-of-the-art dialysis facility to Ludington to provide the best quality care possible to end stage renal disease patients and enable them to continue to thrive,” Sawyer said.
The newly constructed clinic is more than 6,000 square feet. It has 13 treatment stations and the capacity to offer dialysis care for about 78 patients a week, he said.
