Motorcyclist dies fleeing from Ohio police, reports say

HAMILTON, Ohio — A driver of a motorcycle attempting to race away from police after a traffic stop died Tuesday after he crashed into an embankment.

Police have not identified the dead motorcyclist, according to reports.

The incident occurred late Tuesday night when an officer stopped several motorcyclists for traffic violations, Local 12 reports. The riders were displaying the insignia for the Iron Horsemen motorcycle club, reports say.

Three of the motorcyclists sped off but were spotted by another patrol car. One of the cyclists crashed into and over an embankment, Fox19.com reports. He died of his injuries at the scene.

One other motorcyclist stayed at the site of the crash while another was caught after trying to run from police, according to Fox19.com.

Anastasio Camacho, 31, of Versailles, Indiana, and Kyle Ramey, 27, of Harrison, Ohio, are charged with failure to comply with an officer and obstructing official business.
