HUNTINGTON – A Huntington woman was jailed Thursday after she was accused of violently stabbing her sister at a Fairfield neighborhood home.

Eldonna Pennington, 27, of Huntington, was charged with malicious wounding by the Huntington Police Department. Her bond was set at $25,000.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court, officers responded to the 100 block of Davis Street in Huntington just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday to find Reba Aliff in the street in front of the residences where Pennington resides.

Aliff told police she had gotten into an argument with Pennington, her sister, who picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the right arm. The stab wound went completely through her arm and into her side just below her armpit, police said.

Pennington was taken to Western Regional Jail in Barboursville as a result.
