Growth Ally Announces Comprehensive Health Industry Learning (CHIL) Workshops Led by Frank Ingari
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 11, 2018--Growth Ally LLC announced today the launch of the Comprehensive Health Industry Learning (CHIL) Workshop, an intensive 2-day program intended to provide a strategic and practical understanding of U.S. healthcare from the perspectives of all major stakeholders including consumers, providers, insurers, pharma, and government.
Attendees include senior management and high-potential healthcare professionals from all sectors, ranging from HIT software architects to hospital executives, healthplan managers, biopharma scientists and venture capitalists.
Beta-testing has generated strong response from client organizations including major Blue plans, top 5 global IT giants, national hospital systems and leading HIT vendors. The next public workshops are in Manhattan October 15-16 and Boston November 12-13, complemented by dedicated in-house sessions booked by organizations who sent associates to the beta-test sessions.
“I’ve spent most of my career in mainstream IT, coming to healthcare only in 2007,” said CHIL founder Frank Ingari. “I benefitted greatly from the mentoring of lifelong healthcare experts like John Gorman and executives like Richard Jones, Martha Butler, Tom Doerr, and the late Deb Gribble at Essence Healthcare. CHIL is my attempt to help the next generation.”
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts Annual Job Openings in healthcare will average 1.26 million per year, much faster growth than other sectors of the economy.
“A boot camp with Frank is priceless,” said John Gorman, founder of the Gorman Health Group. “Frank has an uncanny ability to synthesize massive amounts of information into what you really need to know. He is one of the most respected executives in the industry and the most insightful guy I know in the business.”
“Healthcare executives are struggling to find people who have experience outside of one vertical sector, while much of the action in innovation and transformation is cross-sector,” Ingari said. “Payers need to engage physicians, while hospitals struggle to function as payers. Pharma wants to understand why payers won’t reimburse their drugs. HIT vendors ask their software developers and UI designers to solve problems they don’t fully understand. CHIL provides a working overview of the whole system, and a framework to incorporate new learning on the job.”
Most attendees are involved in efforts to advance innovation in healthcare, often involving the application of technology in one of many areas including operational efficiency, clinical quality, or drug discovery.
The course is delivered personally by Frank Ingari, an experienced and award-winning serial CEO with significant and current experience on the front lines of healthcare and technology.
