November 16, 2018

FLORENCE, S.C. —Santa Claus is coming to town and he wants to see you when you’re shopping.

Santa Claus will make his grand entrance to the Magnolia Mall on Saturday morning during the organization’s annual “SantaFest” event.

Santa will enter in the Best Buy Court at 11 a.m. with Christmas-themed activities to follow.

There will be music, face painting, holiday balloon twisters, special holiday crafts, vendors, festive tattoos, holiday games, snacks and entertainment as Florence residents begin to ring in the holiday season.

Children can visit with Santa and will be able to write letters to update their Christmas wish list.

During SantaFest, PREIT Perks members can get a fast pass for photos with Santa. Signup for PREIT Perks can be found on Magnolia Mall’s website.

Tickets for the event are free but can be ordered in advance at EventBrite by visiting Magnolia Mall’s Facebook page. Tickets will remain available until 6 p.m. Friday.

Photos with Santa will continue through Christmas Eve in the Best Buy Court. Santa’s hours will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday with breaks from 1 to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. On Sundays, Santa will be available from noon to 6 p.m. with a break from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

Every Monday through Dec. 17, Santa will also be available for pet photos. Only leashed domestic pets will be allowed, and pets will not be allowed to walk on any mall premises after photos are taken. A release form must be completed before the photo is shot.
