Youth activities set at library in Jefferson
JEFFERSON -- The Jefferson Public Library has announced its youth programming for next week.
Storytime will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 10 a.m. It will include stories, songs and rhymes designed to help children develop the early literacy skills they need to be reading ready. The activity is suitable for those ages 1-5.
The next storytime will be June 12 during the library’s summer reading program.
A SHELF teen volunteer meeting will be held May 8 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Teens in sixth grade and up are invited to join this volunteer group.
The group is getting ready for summer. Those interested in volunteering with the library’s summer reading program should come to this meeting to find out more and sign up.
