Cart Smarts: Thinking about brain foods
A current trend I’ve been noticing is the increased focus on “superfoods,” nutrient-rich foods that have many reported health benefits. These are typically common items found in the produce section, such as strawberries, spinach and tomatoes, but also include a wide variety of less common items, such as pomegranates and certain berries.
One reported health benefit of a few superfoods is that they may boost brain health. Who doesn’t want to stay sharp and feel great at the same time?
