By Pam Ashley Today’s News-HeraldMay 23, 2019

There will be two featured speakers at the commencement ceremony when the Class of 2019 graduates Thursday. Both are distinguished alumni of Lake Havasu High School, according to Pat Rooney.

“This year the speakers are Col. Louis Seliquini, Jr. and John Becchio,” Rooney said.

Now a highly decorated military officer, Seliquini graduated from LHHS with the Class of 1986. Today, he is the Inspector General at the U.S. Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

When Seliquini graduated from high school, he was appointed to attend the United Air Force Academy. He subsequently graduated from there in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He also earned a master’s degree in aerospace management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
