BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — River Plate and Racing Club struggled to a 0-0 draw Sunday, leaving River among a pack of four teams trailing league-leader Boca Juniors.

Both River Plate and Boca Juniors are looking past the weekend to their second-leg showdown in the round of 16 in the Copa Libertadores.

River won the first leg 1-0 last week at home at Monumental stadium. The second leg is Thursday at Boca's La Bombonera stadium with the survivor advancing to the quarterfinals of Latin America's most important club tournament.

The match will be the third in 12 days between Argentina's most popular teams.

Boca defeated River 2-0 at La Bombonera in a league match a week ago.

In other first-division results on Sunday, Banfield won 3-0 at Aldosivi 0 and Belgrano downed Arsenal 2-0.
