Firefighters pull woman from burning home on Cleveland’s East Side
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Firefighters pulled a woman from a burning home Sunday afternoon in Cleveland’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
The fire broke out at a home on East 116th Street near Kinsman Road, according to social media posts from the union that represents Cleveland firefighters.
A Cleveland EMS spokesperson confirmed that a crew took the woman to a local hospital, but she could not provide an update on the woman’s condition.
Firefighters knocked down the fire and cleared the area by 2:15 p.m.
A Cleveland Fire Department spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking additional information.
