8 weeks left for Monroe Farmers Market

September 1, 2018

MONROE — There are still eight more Fridays left to check out the town’s Farmers Market this season.

Every Friday from June 22 to Oct. 26, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Farmers Market offers locally produced food on the Monroe Town Green.

Organic fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, gluten-free and vegan backed goods, cut flowers, herbs, goat’s milk products, cheese, local maple syrup, raw honey, pickles, pies, jam, eggs and fresh-caught clams are just some of the products that can be found at the weekly market.

Everything sold at the Farmers Market is made or grown in Connecticut.
