City of Norfolk basketball teams in action on Tuesday night

The City of Norfolk basketball teams were in action on Tuesday evening.

The Norfolk High boys dropped a 64-48 home contest to Omaha World Herald second ranked Millard North. Cameron Eisenhauer led the 0-2 Panthers in the loss with 16 points, five rebounds, and four steals.

The Lutheran High Northeast boys are now 3-0 on the season after a 49-46 home win over Twin River. Ben Gebhardt had 19 points and two steals in the victory while teammate Brady Jackson added ten points and four boards.

The Northeast Hawks men routed the Mt. Marty JV in Yankton, South Dakota 94-71 to improve to 7-5 on the season. No other information was provided.

The Norfolk Catholic girls earned their first win of the season after jumping out to a 21-0 lead on Pierce and held on for a 43-29 home win. Anna Kassmeier had twelve points, nine rebounds, three steals, and three assists in the victory. Teammate Hayden Wolf added twelve points and seven boards. The Lady Knights are now 1-2 on the year.

The Lutheran High Northeast girls were beaten at home by Twin River last night 59-24. Becca Gebhardt scored six points for the 1-2 Lady Eagles.
