128 Technology and Network Data Systems Announce Partnership

December 5, 2018

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 5, 2018--128 Technology, the leader in Session Smart routing, today announced a partnership with Network Data Systems (NDS) to develop and distribute a world-class SD-WAN solution powered by 128 Technology Session Smart™ Router. This partnership enables NDS to offer its enterprise customers a differentiated SD-WAN solution, including the ability to purchase both voice and data services from a trusted provider.

NDS is the latest managed service provider to join the 128 Technology Solution Partner Program, which enables service providers to create new revenue streams by leveraging the innovative Session Smart Router. NDS has been offering a unified communications solution for about 20 years. The partnership with 128 Technology allows NDS to offer an expanded networking solution based on 128 Technology’s agile WAN connectivity, which is built for today’s business applications and services and includes enhanced performance and security compared to competing hardware-based approaches to SD-WAN.

“Many of our clients, both large and small, have complex networks, multi-national workforces, and challenging integration issues,” said Jim Irwin, Director of Services Portfolio at Network Data Systems. “They depend on us as a partner to have the technical know-how to pull it all together, design a smart and solid solution, and execute according to plan. SD-WAN is a key growth driver for NDS, and we are looking forward to partnering with 128 Technology to deliver a differentiated SD-WAN service to dramatically improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers’ next generation networks.”

“Where traditional SD-WAN has delivered incremental benefit on legacy, hardware-centric infrastructure, we have built a disruptive solution that addresses the limitations of the existing infrastructure,” said Andy Ory, Chief Executive Officer, 128 Technology. “NDS’ decision to partner with 128 Technology demonstrates that our Session Smart Router is built to meet the rapidly growing needs of today’s modern businesses. We welcome NDS to our rapidly growing partner program and look forward to working with them to meet the needs of our joint customers.”
