Police find 2 men dead in car that crashed into Toledo creek
TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in Toledo say two men have been found dead inside a car that crashed into a creek.
Fire officials say the car crashed through a guardrail, went airborne and landed in about 8 feet (2.4 meters) of water Thursday night.
Officials say someone called 911 after spotting the car in the creek.
Members of the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department dive team suspended its search in the fast-running creek late Thursday night and found the men’s bodies when they resumed their search Friday morning.
The men are said to be 19 and 21 years old.
