Report: 2 Charged in Conn. Boy’s Heroin
SHELTON, Conn. (AP) _ Police are investigating the death of a 13-year-old Shelton boy from a heroin overdose.
The Connecticut Post reports that Frank Korondi was found dead in a home yesterday after a sleepover.
Police say Korondi was found unconscious on the bathroom floor. He was pronounced dead at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
James Krasowski and his former wife, Angela Krasowski, are accused of first-degree manslaughter, three counts of risk of injury to minors, possession of heroin and other charges.
The 32-year-old James Krasowski and his 23-year-old ex-wife are scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow at Superior Court in Derby.
Each is being held at the Shelton Police Department lockup on $500,000 bond.
Shelton police say Angela Krasowski brought Korondi and her ten-year-old brother to her ex-husband’s house.
The state Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine how heroin got into Korondi’s body and whether it was self-administered.
