BALTIMORE (AP) _ Oakland Raiders quarterback Jeff George left the game against the Baltimore Ravens in the first period Sunday after aggravating a groin injury that had kept him sidelined for nearly a month.

It was not immediately apparent whether he would return to the game.

George played one series against the Ravens, completing one of three passes. It was his first start since leaving a game against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 4.

George strained his groin in the Arizona game and did not play in a game until Sunday. Donald Hollas replaced George in that game and in Sunday's contest against the Ravens.

Hollas' first pass Sunday was intercepted by Rod Woodson for a touchdown.
