Jackknifed truck closes lanes, backs up traffic on I-95 in Greenwich

GREENWICH — A jackknifed truck has two lanes closed and traffic in the area congested as evening rush hour drags on Tuesday.

The truck is jackknifed between Exit 5 and Exit 4 on Interstate 95 south. The right and center lanes are closed. It was reported shortly after 4 p.m.

There was no indication that any additional vehicles were involved. Connecticut Department of Transportation cameras in the area did not show the crash, but showed traffic built up in the area.

The CTDOT reported traffic backed up between Exit 9 and Exit 4, which is 4.3 miles of highway.
