Weddings in Atascocita to be featured on ‘Four Weddings’ TV show

August 3, 2018

Two brides whose weddings took place at The Overlook in Atascocita will appear on the television show “Four Weddings” this Saturday, Aug. 4.

Raquel Johnson’s wedding was last year in November and Carissa Hill was married in January. Television crews filmed the weddings, at which both women and two of their fellow sorority sisters were present.

The premise of “Four Weddings” is that each woman assigns a rating for the other three women’s weddings. The bride and groom whose wedding has the highest score are awarded their dream honeymoon.

The show presents a great opportunity for contestants, but it is also a unique experience for The Overlook, which is one of the popular event venues in the Lake Houston area.

“This was an amazing experience to be a part of,” said Kayla Bennett, sales coordinator for The Overlook. “It was different than anything we’ve done before. To get this recognition as well will help market the venue and everything we do because a lot of brides can’t see what weddings are like during an actual wedding beforehand since they’re private events, so this will allow them to see what we do to make their day unique.”

“Four Weddings” will air Saturday on the TLC Network at 8 p.m. central time.
