Storm uproots trees, damages car Monday night
Another wave of storms brought high winds and heavy rains through Mason County Monday evening into early Tuesday morning.
According to Grand Rapids National Weather Service Meteorologist Brandon Hoving, a maximum wind gust was measured at 54 mph at the buoy in Lake Michigan.
Hoving said storms made their way through the county from about 1:30 a.m. until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
