Man stabbed, brother arrested after Canton standoff
CANTON, Mass. (AP) — A standoff that authorities say followed a stabbing incident involving two brothers has ended.
Police said they were called to a home on Washington Street early Tuesday for a report of a man stabbed. The man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police said the victim’s brother barricaded himself inside a home, prompting officials to close the roadway and call in a SWAT team.
The situation was resolved shortly after 6 a.m. with the suspect, who also reportedly has a stab wound, being taken into custody.
No other details were immediately available.
