The Latest: Police: 3 shot, woman kidnapped; suspect sought
PHOENIX (AP) — The Latest on shootings in Phoenix (all times local):
Phoenix police are looking for a man who they say allegedly shot and critically wounded three other men and kidnapped his girlfriend from one of two shooting locations.
Sgt. Tommy Thompson identified the suspect as 24-year-old Eddison Jesus Noyola and said Noyola has said he intends to harm himself and his kidnapped girlfriend, 30-year-old Andrew Lou Dixon.
Thompson says the incident began Tuesday night when Noyola allegedly stole a gun and car from relatives at an apartment in Glendale.
Those family members weren’t hurt but Thompson says two men were shot at a location several miles away in Phoenix and then a third was shot about 20 minutes later at another location in Phoenix, where Dixon was kidnapped.
Police said the stolen car is a 2018 White Chevrolet Malibu with Wisconsin license plate AAC8410.
Authorities in Phoenix report two people have been shot.
The Fire Department says two victims at an apartment complex were treated and taken to a hospital Tuesday night.
No additional information was released and the Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
The apartment complex is near North 51st Avenue and West Thomas Road.
