Takahashi Leads Japan Senior Open
KASUGAI, Japan (AP) _ Rookie Katsunari Takahashi shot a 3-over-par 75 in incessant rain to maintain a one-stroke margin Saturday after the third round of the Japan Senior Open.
The 50-year-old Takahashi, seeking his first senior title, bogeyed the final three holes in a round of two birdies and five bogeys over the 6,765-yard Kasugai Country Club.
The round left Takahashi, with nine career victories on the regular tour, 4 under at 212. Yukio Noguchi, also aiming for his first senior title, shot a 71 to share second place with Ichiro Teramoto, who had a 72 in pursuit of his third senior victory.
