Jamaica police fatally shoot 23-year-old man
KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — Police in Jamaica have fatally shot a man in the island’s western region.
Police said late Friday that 23-year-old Lasanie Miller died in a confrontation with officers in Westmoreland parish.
An independent commission responsible for investigating alleged police abuses has taken over the case.
