RUSTON, La. (AP) _ Dawn Warner sank a 3-pointer with two seconds remaining to give No. 11 Western Kentucky a 71-68 win over No. 4 Louisiana Tech for the Sun Belt Conference women's championship Saturday.

Warner connected after Tech's Vickie Johnson missed on her final shot with 20 seconds on the clock.

Tech (26-4) led 66-60 with five minutes remaining, but the Lady Toppers (26-3) outscored them 11-2 the rest of the way. Johnson had an open baseline jumper from 10 feet for the potential Tech win in the final seconds, but missed.

Tara Cosby led all scorers with 18 points and added nine rebounds. Debra Williams led Tech with 17 points. Both were named to the all-tournament team.

Also making the all-tournament squad were Johnson, Raquel Spurlock and Kendra Neal, all of Louisiana Tech; and Veronica Cook of Western Kentucky.

Western led early, but Tech took over at the 13-minute mark of the first half. Williams hit a pair of 3s. Amy Brown added another. Johnson threw in a layup. Those four consecutive baskets gave Tech a 15-9 lead at 13:02 of the first half.

The Toppers did not regain the lead until Cook hit both ends of a one-and-one with 7:21 to play, giving Western a 57-56 lead. Tech regained the lead on a Spurlock jumper and did not trail again until the final shot.
