Gloucester fire damages pizza restaurant, homes

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A fire in Gloucester has displaced several families and damaged a pizza restaurant in the same building.

Firefighters responded to Fuller Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Officials say the blaze appears to have started in the kitchen of the Magnolia House of Pizza on the first floor and spread to the rest of the building, which includes several apartments.

Authorities say no one was injured, but at least eight people were displaced from their homes.

Fire officials are trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
