NEW YORK — A man who fled to Thailand after allegedly tossing his dead 7-month-old son into a river has been returned to New York and arrested. James Currie faces arraignment in New York on a charge of concealing a human corpse. Police say those charges could be upgraded once investigators determine how the infant died. BASKETBALL COACH-FATAL PUNCH

NEW YORK — The parents of a Florida man who died after he was punched by an assistant basketball coach at Wake Forest University said Friday in a TV interview that they don’t accept the coach’s apology. “If you’re this good father, son, husband, why not try to take him to the hospital and see if you could save his life?” Bob Kent said of the coach, Jamill Jones. — FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH: State police say a 58-year-old central New York man has died in a motorcycle crash on a highway outside Syracuse.
