Marjory M. Wollin

JOHNSON CREEK -- Marjory M. Wollin, 82, Johnson Creek, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center with family by her side.

She was born in Westford on Jan. 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Reinhold and Goldie (Morgan) Nickel.

Marjory married Charlie Wollin on Feb. 20, 1954, in Columbus. He died on May 22, 2006. After marriage they moved to Johnson Creek.

In her early 60s she was briefly employed by Planar Systems in Lake Mills. She was a member of the Lake Mills Moravian Church, past treasurer for the town of Milford, member of the Plattdeutscher Club in Watertown and past secretary of the Hubbleton Snowmobile Club.

Marjory enjoyed scrapbooking, find-a-words, adult coloring, being in the kitchen cooking and baking, but mostly she loved to spend time with her family and was a very proud grandma and great-grandma.

She is survived by three sons, Edwin (Kathy), Steven (Julie), Douglas, all of Johnson Creek; two daughters, Laurie (Tony) Weber of Johnson Creek and Wanda (Rob) McBain; 12 grandchildren, Erich (Mia) Wollin, Heidi (Chris) Wendorf, Kyle (Erika) Wollin, Jeremy Wollin, Megan (Michael) Becker, Dianna (fiancé Nick Jablonski) Swingen-Wollin, James (Rachel) Dishman, Jeff (fiancée Polly Buell) Dishman, Karissa Wollin, Emma Weber, Devin Weller, Jenna Hufford; 33 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Warden of Adams Friendship; brother- and sisters-in-law, Jerry Wollin of Lyndon Station, Ruby Strasburg of Lake Mills, Jane Lenius of Johnson Creek; other relatives and friends.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Lois Pollock, Barbara Schultze; one brother, Billy Nickel; two sons, Daryle and Joni Wollin; one daughter, Marcie Hufford; and one granddaughter, Brianna Marie Wollin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Lake Mills Moravian Church with the Rev. Dave Sobek officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Lake Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church until the time of service.

If desired, memorials may be made to the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center.
